Speech-Language-Hearing Community Clinics

The La Salle University Speech-Language-Hearing Community Clinics (LSU-SLHCC) provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals living in the Philadelphia area and surrounding communities who have communication and/or swallowing disorders. Supervised by licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologists, graduate students work directly with clients to deliver high-quality services while advancing in their professional education.  The LSU-SLHCC offer both in-person and telepractice visits for the convenience of our clients.

Two clinics are available for adults and children:

• St. Francis Clinic for Adults—provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment for individuals who have a variety of communication and swallowing disorders including aphasia, traumatic brain injuries, cognitive-communication impairments, right-hemisphere disorder, stuttering, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, voice disorders, and gender-affirming voice therapy.
• St. Blase Clinic for Children—provides diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic intervention for children with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders, including disorders of articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language delays, hearing loss, auditory processing disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, selective mutism, and speech and language disorders as a result of developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders, as well as pediatric feeding and swallowing impairments.

The LSU-SLHCC are an integral part of the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s Degree Program at La Salle University. All services are provided to individuals of all ages at no cost.
